A much-deserved tribute to Bernadette D. Normandy, who suffered a debilitating stroke in February 1999. This was the first time I needed to take a pet's life into my own hands, which led to a lot of soul-searching, pain, and guilt. Bernadette was a good pet and I was very sad to see her bo, but in hindsight this CD was dedicated just as much to painful decisions as it was to her.
This was broadcast on CKMS in late 1999. It was 4-tracked in the Abbxcess bedroom, then mixed down and edited on the Diabolical LadyMac. It features sources from older GREENman tapes (and some previously unreleased stuff as well). Special thanks to Detlef Burghardt (guitar on Track 6), LadyMac (voice on track 10) and Adrian Bashford (voice and goofing on track 12).
"Bernadestwo," the final segment, is culled from a 45-minute remake of "Ernesto," recorded entirely in Studio B of CKMS and edited by Bernadette's own teeth. She had a much better sense of precision than I ever did.
