In 1997, I anticipate the Drabbletails inheriting the earth.  They are well-suited to it, and I wish them only the best, because if I didn't they might kick me in the neck.
Most of these tracks were recorded & mixed uner the influence of polyester, velvet, and "slinky material" in the Abbxcess Bedroom 1996 (except for tracks 3, 4 & 8-10, recorded at The Grey Yonder; and bits of 5, recorded at CKMS in 1993).  All tracks (c) 1997 Lupus Enterproses, except 8 (1994 Door no.1/Emotional Wench Music bmi) and 12 (1981 April Music Inc.)
All songs written, performed & mixed by Muffy St. Bernard except 3 (some samples culled by Scott Irving), 6 & 7 (backing track by Muffy & Detlef Burghardt, the latter on bass), 8 (Written by Lisa Germano) and 12 (Written by Jeff Lynne)
Special thanks to those involved: Jon Litchfield, Jim DeJong, Scott Irving, Angela Christelis & the other Octamen at Generation X (for selling the tapes and providing the movies!)

"The Radiator House" was a better place to live than "The Grey Yonder" (by a long shot), and so Drabbletales was much more cheerful.  It was conceived as a tour of "The Radiator House," in which much John Waters and ABBA was enjoyed.  A new piece of equipment was added to the roster -- an ART effects processor), and Detlef arrived to play bass on "The Bastard's Almanac" (originally "Yow Dub Jam.")
This release was far more "inspired" than any of the others, meaning each track has a feeling derived (or outright scoffed) from the work of other artists.  High among the list of inspirators was William T. Vollmann (especially on "The Bird Bitch"), Frida ("Hot Comfort, Small Comfort"), and Electric Light Orchestra ("Another Heart Breaks").  "The Luna Crunch" was supposed to be the first track in the undeveloped 12 of 23 project.
A more fun, song-oriented tape, similar to Die...Alive!
