She-Devils On Heels!

May 5th, 2002

On Cinquo De Mayo, drag illuminary Morgan James arrived to play some music and tell us about this year's Pride events.  Hitler also arrived briefly to confuse us (in the guise of a song about chickens) but otherwise it was a fun and informative show.  Thanks for coming out, Miss James (or should I say, "Her Excellency, the Ambassador from the Imperial Court of Toronto to Kitchener-Waterloo (and thirteen other lines of protocol she's too modest to mention), Morgan James!"

I didn't type that out myself, I copied and pasted it, honest.

Since we're pretty proud people we felt our attitude was enough of a show theme, so the music was pretty much what the three of us wanted to play.  To heck with themes, we said (or rather, that's what I was thinking), and we drank the usual booze and looked forward to this year's celebrations.  Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Apathy...you might want to stop by Victoria Park and see what's going on!
