People were so excited about our radio premiere that they spent all night riding up and down the streets in their cars, honking and waving Canadian flags. Venus and I were flattered by this but we wanted it to stop because most of the people looked like a flabby cross between hippies, jocks and accountants, and they weren't wearing shirts. So, thanks everyone for celebrating, but please don't do this for every show! Or at least get better-looking people involved.

A brief interlude for Muffy's Science Corner! There is, apparently, a crustaceous parasite that settles inside a fish's mouth, eats it's tongue, and takes the place of the tongue. I have a picture of this creature and it's absolutely horrible: a tongue with legs and eyes. Venus and I reflect -- briefly -- that we're very happy to have our own non-parasitic tongues. |
