| DS: Warehouse Shot | A long shot of the Uneeda warehouse, showing people leaving and getting into their cars. |
| ES / AT: Freddy & Frank | Frank explains the warehouse business to Freddy. This is an alternate take with
a few dialogue changes: - Frank doesn't mention "Perfect Teeth" the first time ("Now, they want two adult female skeletons.") - When showing the bedpans, he reverses the line ("Ba-ba-ba-boom. You know what that is" and Freddy says "yeah," distastefully. The second part of the scene is extended: FRANK: ...Don't fool around, Freddy, you're learnin'. Here we've got the surgical devices, all through here. Look over there, see, those are gurneys. Ah. Oxygen, Freddy. Now oxygen is highly explosive, and I want you to be careful, I don't want you smokin' here. FREDDY: No, don't worry, I don't smoke. FRANK: Good. FREDDY: Cigarettes. FRANK: {Laughter} Freddy, this is where we keep the fresh cadavers...{Makes a scary noise} |
| TS / AT: In The Freezer | The dialogue in the freezer is from an alternate take, with a "soda" line from Frank at the end: "Tell you what I'll do, kid. Buy you a soda, and I'll teach you how to fill out these shipping forms." |
| DS: Soda | An extended sequence, after they leave the freezer: FRANK: Look alive, heh-heh. You've gotta close this door real tight Freddy, else it pops open. FREDDY: Okay. Uh, Frank? How late are we going to work 'till tonight? I mean I don't mean to rush you or anything it's just that I've got a date later on. FRANK: Hey, you're not a clockwatcher are you Freddy? FREDDY: No, I don't even have a watch. FRANK: Oh. Well, what time's your date? FREDDY: Ten o'clock. FRANK: Oh, no we're fine, I mean we're only going to work an hour or so. Who you got a date with? FREDDY: My girl. FRANK: Well I hope it's a girl, Freddy, you know I was kinda nervous with that damn earring you got there. You got some change for the soda machine? FREDDY: ...no. FRANK: Guess I'll have to treat, then. {Laughs} Where you going? FREDDY: Oh, we're gonna go dancing over at the Red Dog Saloon tonight. FRANK: Ah, youth. Youth, youth, youth! Oh dear. |
| ES / LD: Punk Walk | Casey's line "So fuck off and die" is pre-looped, much less forceful. The end of the
scene is extended: CASEY: ...Freddy always knows where there's a place to party! TINA: You guys, that'd be really rad but Freddy's gonna be pretty tired. SPIDER: Also we ain't got no car. CASEY: How're you getting there, Tina? TINA: On the bus. SCUZZ: Ah, shit, I ain't takin' no fuckin' bus. TRASH: Suicide has a car. CASEY: Oh God, not him. SCUZZ: Why not? He's got a car. TINA: You guys, it's just me and Freddy, okay? CASEY: Alright, let's all go get Suicide and make him drive us over to where Freddy's working. |
| ES / AT: In The Office | Various parts of this scene are from an alternate take, and also contain additional
dialogue. At the beginning of the scene, Frank says "Mmmm, smells like rain!" There
is also this: FREDDY: Yeah yeah, that's the one where the corpses start eating the people, right? Sure, I saw that, that was one of the bestest movies there ever was. FRANK: Damn right. FREDDY: What about it? FRANK: Did you know that whole story was true? |
| ES/ MS / AT: In The Basement | The Tarman isn't shown at all. When the cannister cracks, Freddy does not scream "Oh, fuck!" As the camera pans away from Frank and Freddy lying on the ground, it lingers on the top of the cannister, showing it smoke and corrode. There are no shots of the pipes that go through the warehouse, and the Yellow Man corpse jitters much longer. |
| AD: Colonel's House | As the camera pans down from the flagpole, you can hear Dan O'Bannon shout "car," just before the car drives to the gate. |
| ES: Colonel Checking In | After the Colonel is finished checking in with headquarters, he mixes a drink and takes a sip from it. |
| TS: Colonel And Wife | The Colonel says "anywhere" a second time at the end of the scene ("Look, we've been through all this before. They could be anywhere. Anywhere.") |
| TS: In Suicide's Car | After Suicide turns around to attack Spider, there is some additional off-camera
dialogue: SPIDER: Try to get us there alive, okay, shithead? SUICIDE: What, you're criticizing my driving? TRASH: You call this driving? |
| ES / LD / MS: At The Cemetary | After Trash says "Let's do that," Suicide says "C'mon, let's pay our fuckin' respects," and Tina gives him a dirty look. Instead of saying "I just wanna look around the graveyard," Scuzz says "I just wanna see what the graveyard looks like." After they open the cemetary gate, Trash says "I like graveyards!" In the graveyard, Chuck looks into the cannon, Spider scares him, and somebody howls. There is no shot of Chuck turning on his radio. |
| AT: Spray Some Deoderant | There are a lot of small differences in the dialogue during this scene, including Frank saying "Yeah, I'd better spray some deoderant or something like that" instead of "I'd better spray some deoderant around here." There is a lot more audible coughing and gagging while they look for the dog, and additional exclamations ("Hurry, Jesus Christ!" "Get In There") as they lock the Yellow Man into the freezer and run into the office. |
| AT / AD: Trash Is Taking Off Her Clothes | Trash's conversation with Spider is an alternate take. The song she's dancing to is actually "Nasty Girl" by Vanity 6, and as she dances you can hear the director telling the cast to get closer to her. |
